With 272,538 square feet, the Presbyterian Hospital of Denton facility is licensed for 255 beds, which includes a 28 all-private bed Emergency Department, nine large surgical suites, three cardiac catheterization labs, two endoscopy suites and even space for future expansion.  The Presbyterian Hospital of Denton campus also includes education and community meeting space and four medical office buildings.

Presbyterian Hospital of Denton includes:

  • Licensed for 255 beds. 
  • A 28 all-private bed Emergency Department, including dedicated areas for cardiac, obstetrics and gynecology, trauma, special procedures, general examination and observation is adjacent to key diagnostic deparments.
  • A total of nine-large surgical suites; three endoscopy suites
  • An 18 bed pre op holding area and 19 bed recovery/step-down unit
  • Two cardiac catheterization labs, as well as a peripheral vascular lab
  • The latest digital imaging system, including advanced ultrasound units, nuclear medicine cameras, a magnetic resonance imager (MRI), 64-slice CT scanner and procedure rooms
  • The Center for Women is home to 11 Labor, Delivery & Recovery Suites, 26 private postpartum rooms; 20-bed nursery and the only Level III ten bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Denton.
  • The Center for Women has Denton's only dedicated Women's Imaging Center, a certified Softer Mammogram Provider, that includes mammography, bone densitometry, ultrasound and a stereotactic breast biopsy suite.
