There are three main nursing stations which are fully equipped, which allows nursing care that is more efficient, effective and convenient for patients.
Patient caregivers wear a personal communication device called Vocera, which is linked to the patient's nurse call system in order to assure that the patient is able to be in contact with their nurse when needed.
The Medical and Surgical units have open visiting times in order to allow family and friends convenient access to patients during their stay.
The Medical Surgical nurses utilize the latest technology in electronic medication dispensing called Accudose to assure the physician's medication orders are distributed accurately.
